Hotel Backpackers is a large and unique hotel, restaurant and bar just a five minute’s tuk-tuk ride from Rio Dulce’s major bus terminals. They offer a wide variety of accommodations, travel and tourism assistance, a robust menu for all three meals and a fair selection of beer and cocktails until midnight each day. The riverside property is comfortable and breezy although sometimes noisy due to the nearby bridge and waterway.

Hotel Backpackers is located beneath the bridge on the East side of the Rio Dulce. Those arriving in Rio Dulce at any of the major bus terminals can simply walk back across the bridge or hire a tuk-tuk for the five minute ride. The property is situated along several wharfs and boasts three stories of unique accommodations. Screen windows, plenty of curtains, several shaded seating areas and the riverside location make Hotel Backpackers a cool and breezy lounging location throughout the day.
